Legends of Utrae is a modification of the Utraean Peninsula "Stones of Utrae" map for Dungeon Siege. It is playable in both singleplayer and multiplayer and includes many features from the Legends of Aranna expansion pack by Mad Doc Software.
Features of LoU include: 350 varieties of monsters to fight, 80 set items from the expansion pack, over 30 new quests neatly arranged into 8 chapters, 20 recruitable characters (with new custom made portraits) in singleplayer, 8 new merchants added that sell rings, amulets and backpacks, and more.
See the readme for the full feature set!

Version: 1.4
This is a small mod I made so that players can start Legends of Utrae v3.2
with the character of their choice from any of the eleven races in the game.
Just move loucharacters.dsres into the DSLOA folder with Legends of Utrae
and when you start a new game (in any map, not just LOU), you'll be able
to select from the following;
Normal Farmboy
Normal Farmgirl
Male Utraean
Female Utraean
Skeleton
Dwarf
Half Giant
Naja (Snake Woman)
Goblin
Gargoyle
Female Elf
Note that you will have problems if you use any of these characters in a
multiplayer game if not all players have the same mod installed.
Legends of Utrae v3.2 must be present at all times while characters made
through this mod are being used, as they depend on it for their resources.
It is also not recommended that you have this mod present if you intend
using a mod that has starting characters of it's own, ie. Dark Elves v3.0
or Dungeon Siege Revived.
This version enables multiplayer selection of goblin, snake woman, elf &
gargoyle which I forgot. Plus it also enables support for BufUI & Autocast.
It also doesn't override any of the existing templates in the game.
Thanks to Paneth48 for reporting the initial problems & follow ups (three
times now).Much appreciated.
