**************************************************************************************************************************** ==================================================== Druid Mod v2.0 ======================================================== ================================================== By: Everclearules20 ===================================================== ============================================== chris.menken@angelfire.com ================================================== **************************************************************************************************************************** PLEASE READ THIS WHOLE FILE BEFORE PLAYING WITH IT INSTALLED. This mod adds three character types: Druid - casts nature magic spells, and can use a few wooden weapons and bows to level his skill Necromancer - uses new combat magic spells, and summons Barbarian - only different exp distribution and a cool sword thus far... NOTES: The Necromancer can only summon skeletons from a corpse (When you see a corpse with the name highlighted in red, scroll over it with the summon skeleton spell ready, and click on it) The necro can summon: Two regular skeletons: Summon Skel 1 Summon Skel 2 A Fire Golem One skeleton mage of: Summon Fire Mage Summon Lightning Mage One Skeleton mage of: Summon Cold Mage Summon Poison Mage Example: A necro can have a Fire Golem, 2 Regular Skels, 1 Fire mage and 1 Cold Mage INSTALLATION: To play as a one of these characters, you must place the Druid.dsres in your Resource folder in your Dungeon Siege directory, and it must remain there while you continue to play with this character. BUT if you choose to play another character who is a Nature Mage, remove this mod before playing with it. This mod changes exp distribution, which could mess up your character. In short, if you want to play with a Druid, make sure the Druid.dsres is in your Resource folder, if you do not wish to play with a Druid, make sure to take it out. To get the items or spells, place the DruidShop.dsres into your Resource folder, Start a game in Elddim in Regular difficulty, and you can buy the items at the blacksmith and spells at the mage/potion seller. Some items you may not be able to use yet, but you can get them later. Leave the game and move the DruidShop.dsres from your Resource folder to a different folder, to avoid conflicts with other mods. When you are strong enough to use the other items, place the DruidShop.dsres back in your Resource folder, and repeat the process again. MAKE SURE TO REMOVE THE DruidShop.dsres WHEN YOU DO NOT NEED TO BUY THE ITEMS, OR SPELLS. AND REMOVE THE Druid.dsres WHEN YOU WANT TO PLAY SOMETHING OTHER THAN A DRUID. PLEASE TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK.
