GENERAL NOTES:
I hope you will enjoy this map - it has some effort behind making it
fun. To play the MazeMap you will need to place the file
Mazemapv3.dsmap in your maps folder and place the two .dsres files
in your resource folder. (they are Quickstarter_v2.dsres and
MazeResources.dsres)
Many regions are incomplete but the start area is fully rendered, mood
enhanced and NPC operational. Please click on the Helper Dwarves for
information as you go - they were made to make up for the imcomplete
state of the map.
After completing this map I realized it was too scid rich for some
computers and devised a new method of object placement to get better
results with less stuff. This technique required I start most of the
map over - so the next version will bbe quite different.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
Quickstarter is a mod that adds new templates to the game (no
overwritten files for the templates) and a heroes.gas file (which
increases the speed of the character and adds the included items to
farmgirl and farmboy - farmgirl looks WAY better in the armor btw.)
Quickstarter is fun - but optional. The heroes.gas file will not work
well with some mods like knife of skill. (which quickstarter credits
heavily)
MazeResources is a must use mod as it includes all the mood files for
the map. Nothing is overwritten for this mod.
